CardigaTeam Qualifies Again in CDN at Golegã with Manuel Maia and Melro da Sernadinha.

After Ema Ferreira and Medronho achieved two qualifications in Alter do Chão, it was Manuel Freitas Maia & Melro da Sernadinha's turn to obtain two qualifying scores for the National Championship at the CDN held last weekend in Golegã.

Both pairs are very young, horses and riders, and compete in the FEI Junior dressage category. Melro da Sernadinha is a purebred Lusitano from the Santa Margarida stud farm, a breeder of Lusitano horses, and has grown with Manuel under the guidance of João Pedro Cardiga, the pairs' trainer. "It has been a journey with ups and downs, which is typical and natural for those who are learning and growing. And in these cases, we embrace the challenge of supporting the growth of two young horses with two young riders. A learning experience that will stay with them for life, and even with me. But when we see them achieve their goals, we feel motivated, proud, and certain that we are on the right path," stated João Pedro Cardiga, the two pairs' trainer.
