João Cardiga Equestrian Academy organizes Dressage OPEN as part of the “Oeiras Equestre” program

The João Cardiga Equestrian Academy will host, on September 21, 2025, the Dressage OPEN, integrated into the Oeiras Equestre program, one of the largest equestrian events in the municipality.

The competition, which will take place at the Quinta de Recreio – Palácio Marquês de Pombal, will feature Level 1 tests for all categories, offering athletes of different ages and levels the opportunity to showcase their talent and passion for the discipline of Dressage.

Registrations are open until September 15, 2025, via the platform www.gira.io

The event is part of the Oeiras Equestre program, which on September 6, 7, 20, and 21 will bring to the municipality a diverse schedule of activities and competitions, with the aim of enhancing the region’s historical, cultural, and sporting heritage, while promoting the connection between equestrian tradition and the local community.

Dressage, known as the “art of Equestrian Training,” is an Olympic discipline that combines technique, harmony, and elegance in the relationship between horse and rider.
