CardigaTeam Athletes Qualify for the National and European Championships.

Ema Ferreira and Medronho do Zambujal, from CardigaTeam, secured qualification for the CPD-Portuguese Championship at the Ponte de Lima Horse Fair, joining their teammate Manuel Freitas Maia, with Melro da Sernadinha, who had already guaranteed his qualification.

Maria Confraria, with Jet Set, also qualified for the National Championship and the FEI European Pony Championship, which will take place from July 25th to 28th in Opglabbeek, Belgium.

João Pedro Cardiga, coach of Cardiga Team, was pleased with the results achieved by his team: "The objectives we set for this year have been met. To qualify and participate in the top events of the discipline, which are the national championships and the European Championship. They are very young, aged between 13 and 15, with a large margin for progression."

The three pairs ride three Lusitano horses from the Pedro Sousa Vieira, Santa Margarida, and João Pedro Cerejo stud farms. This will be a way to contribute to the appreciation of the Portuguese horse. Regarding Maria and Jet Set's participation in the European Championship, we have already outlined the objectives, which are primarily to gain experience, learn, socialize with foreign athletes, and participate without pressure, in order to enhance their personal growth."
