Regulations (Summary)

1. Enrollment

Enrollments can be made at any time of the year, provided there are vacancies, and can be of 2 types:

a) Type 1 - Initial, when it happens for the first time with an annual fee as per the current price list, which will correspond to the membership fee, insurance, and FEP practitioner license, this amount being non-refundable.

b) Type 2 - Renewal, when the student is already enrolled, with an annual fee as per the current price list, which will correspond to the membership fee, insurance, and FEP practitioner license, this amount being non-refundable.

Note: The student will not be able to renew their enrollment without all previous outstanding debts being fully settled.

2. Absences

2.1 The student will have the right to make up lessons equivalent to their monthly fee, provided their absences are justified in advance with the secretary. The student may exercise this right to make up for absences related to prolonged illness or vacation periods.

2.2 Whenever the Academy cancels classes due to the calendar, these are rescheduled, or the equivalent adjustment will be made in the following month's payment.

2.3. For students in competition, it is considered that the adjustment of lessons is equivalent to the support service guaranteed during the events to the respective horse/athlete, and there will be no make-up lessons.

2.4 When a student reaches 4/8 consecutive absences without notifying and/or justifying them, they will be removed from the schedule, and the vacancy may be filled by a new student.

3. Monthly Fees

3.1 There are 12 monthly fees per year to cover the necessary expenses with trainers, grooms, and stabling of the equines (feed, veterinarian, medication, farrier, and various materials) of the Riding School.

3.2 The base monthly fee corresponds to 4 monthly lessons.

3.4 Monthly fees must be paid in cash, via ATM, or bank transfer by the due date - the 8th of the current month. After this date, they will incur a 5% surcharge.

3.5 Payments made after the end of the month to which they refer will incur a 10% surcharge.

3.6 Students who are more than 30 (thirty) days in arrears with their monthly fee will not be able to participate in Events or represent the Club in external Competitions.

4. Saddle Exams

4.1 Saddle exams comply with the POPE-Official Riding Practitioner Program of the FEP.

4.2 Exams take place during school holidays: Christmas, Easter, and Summer.

4.3 Students who are deemed eligible may register after prior notification from the Instructor.

5. Miscellaneous

5.1 At the Pony Club, students are admitted from the age of 5.

5.2 Horse owners at livery must have updated insurance.

5.3 The Academy welcomes volunteers for the Therapeutic Riding division.
